Description:

Manta rays—highly intelligent and highly threatened—are the largest rays in the world. The sea creatures live in tropical, subtropical, and temperate ocean waters across the globe. “Manta” means blanket or cloak in Spanish, describing the look of the animals’ large, flat, diamond-shaped bodies, which are characterized by triangular pectoral fins. Manta rays have two horn-shaped fins protruding from the front of their heads, which has also given them the nickname “devil fish.”

From the months of November through April, our warm tropical waters are home to the North Pacific stock of Humpback whales.

Get to know Our Boat

The Aukai I. was designed and built in 2012 by R&B boats in Eugene, OR. The concept of our boat is to provide our cut bait("chunking" or "mooching") fisherman with plenty of desk space. The large deck is complimented with large fish/ice hold, 12 rod holders, bait cutting table, shade area, and all the tackle. The captain's helm is complimented with GPS, radar and fish finder.
