Humpback whales live in all oceans around the world. They travel great distances every year and have one of the longest migrations of any mammal on the planet. Some populations swim 5,000 miles from tropical breeding grounds to colder, more productive feeding grounds. Humpback whales are a favorite of whale watchers―they are often active, jumping out of the water and slapping the surface with their pectoral fins or tails
From the months of November through April, our warm tropical waters are home to the North Pacific stock of Humpback whales.
The Aukai I. was designed and built in 2012 by R&B boats in Eugene, OR. The concept of our boat is to provide our cut bait("chunking" or "mooching") fisherman with plenty of desk space. The large deck is complimented with large fish/ice hold, 12 rod holders, bait cutting table, shade area, and all the tackle. The captain's helm is complimented with GPS, radar and fish finder.
